Dermal fillers are a hyaluronic acid-based facial treatment, often used to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour and create volume, and revitalise the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that naturally exists in your body and by injecting it directly into your skin & boosting your body’s supply, dermal fillers revitalise and add volume to the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and giving a natural softer look.
Dermal Fillers are an injectable treatment, meaning they can cause some discomfort like any injection, but most people find it manageable.
To minimise your discomfort, we apply a numbing cream prior to your treatment. After each injection, you may feel a tingling sensation but this will subside within a couple of hours.
Dermal Fillers are an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment that restore and refresh your skin and can be used to treat a wide range of things including:
. Fine lines around the mouth
. Under-eye wrinkles
. Fine lines around the eyes
. Wrinkly cheeks
. Lips
. Under-eye hollows (tear troughs)
. Nasolabial lines
. Jawline and Jowls
. Marionette lines (lines from the corners of the mouth to the jawline, accentuating the downturn of the mouth)
. Crepey Hands
. Deeper lines and folds
Most people aged 30 and up are suitable for Dermal Fillers as they are an excellent treatment for anyone who wants to maintain firm, healthy skin.
It is also beneficial for those who are starting to notice the first signs of ageing, including fine lines or looser/sagging skin.
Getting Dermal Fillers as a preventative is a great way to preserve your youthful look — by strengthening the skin's collagen and elastin, and by increasing its hydration levels.
Not only can Dermal Fillers be used to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, contour your face, give your lips a fuller look or revitalise skin — they also have many other benefits including:
. No downtime after the treatment
. Reduce the appearance of scars
. Treatment tailored to you and your goals
. Immediate results
. Build up your self-confidence
you will notice a difference almost immediately after your first session and the results will improve over the week following treatment.
After your treatment is finished, you will be given a specific set of aftercare instructions. These will also be explained to you by your clinician.
We recommend that you avoid aerobic or intense physical activity until all redness has subsided.
Further after care includes using SPF 30+ at all times – even if it’s cloudy outside.
All of our clients first come in for a consultation. The consultation is there to talk you through your options, give you a patch test and check for any medical issues. The consultation costs £50 but this comes off the price of the treatment package that you go with. At your consultation, one of our nurse clinicians will talk you through options and get you booked in for your first treatment.
