Chemical peels are a solution applied to the face to get rid of old/dead skin cells and encourage the production of new ones.
They activate the skin's healing processes to restore healthy, smooth, clear, bright skin that is supple and glowing; as a result, your skin looks and feels younger. New skin cell growth is encouraged by peels. Natural peeling agents encourage new skin cell growth, working WITH the skin, not against it.
We have a range of peels available for varying skin types and conditions — our clinicians will determine the best course of action for you during your consultation.
We have a range of peels used to treat the following concerns:
. Acne
. Blackheads
. Whiteheads (Milia)

We use Chemical Peels to treat faces as well as hands, back, arms & chest areas.
We will begin by steaming your face and giving you a basic facial to ensure your skin is clean and free from any other creams, makeup, moisturisers, or topical treatments.
The Chemical Peel is then applied to your face to encourage the removal of the outer, dull layers of your skin.
The amount of skin removed depends on the type of chemical peel used, the strength of the peel, and how long it is left on the skin – this will be determined by our clinicians based on your skin type and concerns.
Chemical Peels are a non-invasive treatment method most commonly used to remove skin imperfections and stimulate skin cell renewal. However, they also have many other benefits including:
. Low risk and minimal side effects
. Noticeable results after just one session – enhanced by your at-home routine
Chemical Peels also reduce the appearance of:
. Active acne
. Acne scars
. Rosacea
. Fine lines and wrinkles
. Hyperpigmentation
. Sun spots
As with any treatment, Chemical Peels do have some risks, but when carried out by properly trained clinicians the chance of these occurring is minimised.
Our clinicians will analyse your skin and determine the best course of action for your skin type and concerns during your consultation.
Chemical Peels are not suitable for people who:
. Are Pregnant
. Are Breastfeeding
. Have an active skin infection
. Have any open wounds on treatment area
. Have any Inflammatory skin conditions
. Are on prescription medication with photosensitivity side effects
Most people require 4 to 6 light peels, spaced 1 to 2 months apart, to achieve desired results.
The time between the peels allows skin cells to renew and turn over, with each subsequent peel exfoliating cells and treating new cells just beneath the skin's surface.
During your consultation, our clinicians will examine your skin and determine the best course of action for your skin type and concerns.
After the procedure, your skin will be glowing with some slight redness that will subside within a few hours.
Your skin will then peel within the first couple of days, when your skin is finished peeling, you will notice more improvement.
The appearance of your skin will continue to improve for the next 4 to 6 weeks.
After your treatment is finished, you will be given a specific set of aftercare instructions. These will also be explained to you by your clinician.
We recommend that you avoid aerobic or intense physical activity until all redness has subsided.
Further after care includes using SPF 30+ at all times – even if it’s cloudy outside.
All of our clients first come in for a consultation. The consultation is there to talk you through your options, give you a patch test and check for any medical issues. The consultation costs £50 but this comes off the price of the treatment package that you go with. At your consultation, one of our nurse clinicians will talk you through options and get you booked in for your first treatment.
