Does Lumecca Hurt?

During your Lumecca IPL treatment, you will experience a bright flash of light from the Lumecca device that clients often liken to that of a light rubber band snap.

The skin will be red and heated following treatment, but this will go away within an hour. Most people find the treatment to be relatively pleasant and pain-free.

What does post-procedure care look like?

Unlike other laser facials, Lumecca doesn't damage the skin in any way, therefore there is little to no downtime after the procedure.

You may experience some redness or dark spots following your treatment, however, these usually fade within a couple of hours. Following treatment, we recommend you avoid direct sunlight for a few days and if you are out in the sun we suggest wearing a full-coverage sunscreen to protect your skin.
