Microneedling is a treatment used to treat many varying concerns including; dull skin, wrinkles, scarring, and pigmentation. The tiny needles on the machine puncture the surface of the skin, which stimulates the body's healing process. This process drastically increases the production of collagen in the skin, producing an almost immediate plumping & firming effect.
Microneedling can be used to treat many different skin types for many different concerns, most commonly:
. Dull skin
. Fine lines & wrinkles
. Scarring (including acne scars)
. Pigmentation.
During your consultation, our clinicians will determine if microneedling is the best option for you.
Microneedling is suitable for almost all skin types and conditions.
It is a great treatment for dull skin, fine lines, aging, pigmentation, and acne scarring.
During your consultation, our clinicians will determine if Microneedling is the best course of treatment for you.
We recommend that any breakouts clear before undergoing this treatment. However, our clinicians will discuss this with you during your consultation.
We will begin by steaming your face and giving you a basic facial to ensure your skin is clean and free from any other creams, makeup, moisturisers, or topical treatments.
A topical numbing cream is then applied to the area before carrying out microneedling treatment to ensure that any small levels of pain are minimised.
We will then apply a mask and rehydrate your skin before you leave.
Downtime is minimal.
Providing results in as little as one session, Microneedling helps with:
. Skin tightening, natural collagen induction, lifting, and rejuvenation
. Improves wrinkles and fine lines
. Improves acne scars
. Minimises large pores
. Improves hyperpigmentation
. Improves stretch marks
You will see a plumping effect almost immediately, however the natural healing process and production of collagen and elastin takes time, so you may need a course of treatments to see optimal results.
After your treatment is finished, you will be given a specific set of aftercare instructions. These will also be explained to you by your clinician.
We recommend that you avoid aerobic or intense physical activity until all redness has subsided.
Further after care includes using SPF 50 at all times – even if it’s cloudy outside.
All new clients must book in first for a 30 minute consultation with one of our clinicians. The consultation is there to talk you through your options, give you a patch test (if necessary) and to check for any medical issues. The consultation costs £50 but this comes off the price of the treatment package that you choose to proceed with. At your consultation, one of our nurse clinicians will talk you through options and get you booked in for your first treatment.
